2nd ALBO Visayas Convention Advisory

            Welcome to the 2nd ALBO-Visayas Convention/Seminar at Punta Villa Resort, Arevalo. Iloilo City.

 

How to get there:

 

 Iloilo City is accessible by plane, by land and sea.

 

From Cebu City by sea, the latest and most popular is by RORO vessel via Toledo City to San Carlos City, Negros Occ., proceeding to Bacolod City by land.  Then take a fastcraft (SuperCat, Ocean Jet, Weesam) for Iloilo City.  Travel time is approximately 10 hours. Or you can take  Trans-asia or Cokaliong Shipping lines for an overnight trip. The boats leave Cebu City 6 pm.  From the Iloilo Port, you can take vans or taxi in going to Punta Villa Resort, Arevalo, Iloilo City which is a 15 min. ride.

 

By plane from Cebu City, Bohol, Samar and Leyte, you can take Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific or Air Philippines. Upon arrival at the Iloilo Airport take the vans going to SM City for 40 min. ride. Fare is P70.00 until SM City only. Then take a taxi going to the venue for less than P200.00.  If you travel by groups, you can arrange for a ride  directly to Punta Villa Resort, Arevalo, Iloilo City; fare is negotiable.

 

Western Visayas delegates can travel by land and sea. There’s a bus liner and  vans for hire from any point of Panay Island. Participants from Negros Occidental and Oriental can take fast craft in going to Iloilo City (Muele Loney).

 

General Information:

 

1.      Registration is P3,600.00 includes 3 days and 2 nights. Fullboard meals consists of 2 breakfast, 2 lunch, 2 dinner, 3am snacks,  2pm snacks.

2.      Convention rate will still apply for those arriving in advance (before Oct. 19th or staying participants after Oct. 21 noon). However, expenses before and after the Convention are for the personal account of the participants.

3.      Rooms are quadruple  sharing.

4.      Members of the Secretariat in red shirts will be stationed to assist you at the Iloilo Airport and Iloilo Port.  You may also ask assistance from the tourism counter.

5.      ALBO 6, 7 and 8 officers are advised to bring their regional banner for the and wear barong tagalong for the Opening Program.

6.      To avoid inconvenience, please submit confirmation/rooming list and schedule of arrival flights/trips to 336-90-49 Iloilo PBO or 338-08-64 DBMRO 6.
